As we near the start of the school year, there is an exciting new opportunity for schools to receive grant funds to plan, implement, and operate full-service community schools. Here at Marzano Research, we’re really thrilled. These grants will funnel much-needed funds to schools and communities to improve services for children and families, particularly for children attending high-poverty schools, including high-poverty rural schools.
Important Dates
Deadline for Notice of Intent to Apply: August 12, 2022.
Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: September 12, 2022.
Deadline for Intergovernmental Review: November 10, 2022.
There are a lot of resources on the application website, but we know that applying for a grant can be a confusing process. We would love to help districts with these grant applications and serve as the external evaluator for the grants. This is the first year the grant process requires an external evaluator, so we’re happy to discuss what impacts that will have on the process.
