Marzano Research CEO Danette Parsley will represent the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) during the 2026 ICSEI Congress, taking place January 18–22, 2026.
As President of ICSEI, Parsley will join education leaders from more than 45 countries for the organization’s annual congress, a global gathering focused on strengthening learning systems through dialogue across research, practice, and policy.
Parsley will also serve as a discussant for the symposium Reimagining the Learning Partnership: Crossing Boundaries between Teachers and Students, contributing to conversations on how the educator-student relationship shapes meaningful learning.
“ICSEI is one of the few global education spaces where people working in very different contexts can slow down, listen carefully, and learn from one another,” Parsley said. “The congress creates opportunities share ideas, test assumptions, and rethink together what learning and leadership look like in practice.”
Parsley’s presence at the congress reflects ICSEI’s ongoing commitment to global exchange and Marzano Research’s long-standing focus on connecting research to real classrooms and systems. Insights from the congress will inform both ICSEI’s future work and Marzano Research’s efforts to support educators and system leaders worldwide.
