North Dakota Educators' Network
Building Confidence, Community, and Better Literacy Outcomes
The North Dakota Educators' Network is a statewide professional learning network designed to improve literacy outcomes by helping educators across North Dakota connect, learn, and collaborate. As a required component of the North Dakota Comprehensive Literacy Improvement through Measured Building Systems (CLIMBS) grant, the Educators' Network offers participants:
- Ongoing professional learning grounded in the science of reading
- Meaningful collaboration with educators who teach similar grades
- Support for implementing evidence-based literacy practices
- Access to useful resources and shared ideas
- Greater confidence in a foundational area of instruction
- A professional community committed to stronger literacy outcomes for students
- Continuing education credits
What Participants Will Do
Join a Role-Alike Group
As a member of the Educators’ Network, you will join a role-alike group with other North Dakota educators who teach similar grades.
Collaborate with Peers
Each role-alike group is supported by an Educators’ Network facilitator who helps members share resources, deepen understanding of literacy practices aligned with the science of reading, and collaborate to improve implementation.
Meet Regularly
Groups will meet regularly and have opportunities to learn from one another at least once a month.
