Charlie Ebersole
Researcher

Hello there! My name is Charlie Ebersole, and I am a Researcher at Marzano Research. During my career, I've done research on education policy, workforce development, metascience, and social psychology. I also have experience designing and implementing multisite studies in large collaborations. In that work, I've partnered with state, local, and federal agencies to summarize and utilize the best evidence available. Overall, I like to spend my time thinking about how we can better evaluate research and produce more robust evidence for informing education policy. 

I have followed the well-trodden path from the Midwest (I'm originally from Ohio) to the mountains of Denver. Along the way, I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology at Miami University (also in Ohio) and both my master's degree and PhD in social psychology at the University of Virginia.  

Outside of work, I am often chasing and/or tending to one of my increasingly large number of pets (the current roster includes dogs, ducks, turtles, and a hamster). I very much enjoy getting to escape to the mountains or settling in with a nonfiction book about a depressing topic. The worst thing I do for my mental health is support Manchester United.
