Program Evaluation

At Marzano Research, our program evaluations go beyond measuring outcomes—our collaborative approach supports successful program implementation that surfaces actionable data and allows you to make course corrections along the way. Our staff support programs of all sizes to identify the goals, questions, and data that help track the implementation of initiatives and strategies. We scale our evaluation services based on your needs, and we are invested in your success.

Early engagement with a program evaluator and collaborative evaluation design are key to a successful program evaluation. Our experienced team will roll up their sleeves and work side by side with you to:

  • Cocreate a logic model or theory of action that describes your project

  • Design an evaluation that is meaningful for you and your stakeholders

  • Gather the data and information you need to measure project outcomes

  • Provide ongoing data analysis to inform continuous improvement

  • Provide reports that are simple, direct, and actionable

Our evaluators have experience in school-level participatory evaluation, examination of districtwide program implementation fidelity, and multiyear federal grant evaluations requiring knowledge of What Works Clearinghouse standards. We can help you develop grant applications to fund new programs, and we are skilled in creating reports for government agencies, foundation funders, and community stakeholders.

We leverage local expertise to develop accessible and relevant evaluation tools (surveys, focus group protocols, observation rubrics, etc.) and can work with program staff to build their capacity for data collection and evaluation. Our team draws from a wide variety of content expertise, including school improvement, early childhood education, math, and literacy. We can help you make the most of your program investments and track your success in improving student outcomes.
