Professional Learning and Coaching
Marzano Research was founded with a focus on what happens in the classroom. Our team members have worked as teachers, principals, and district staff, and they are devoted to improving practice through practical, meaningful solutions. We draw from a wide variety of content expertise, including school improvement, early childhood education, math, and literacy.
From providing support to teachers in classrooms to implementing large-scale technical assistance projects with local and state education agencies, we work with educators to build their capacity and address their greatest needs. We can help you:
-
Support the unique learning needs of school improvement coaches
-
Learn about and implement evidence-based instructional practices for literacy and math
-
Design and facilitate professional learning networks
-
Test instructional strategies and learning activities in your classrooms
-
Build capacity for program evaluation
We are committed to building on the assets and strengths of the people we work with, helping them draw on their life experiences and knowledge to improve practices and programs. We offer stand-alone professional development sessions for teachers, school and program leaders, early childhood practitioners, and coaches. We also design extended opportunities that combine learning sessions with job-embedded support like coaching and professional learning communities.
