June is LGBTQ+ pride month and for those schools still in session, it’s a great time to talk to students about equity and justice. One of our commitments as an organization is that of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and we believe all students should feel welcomed, valued, and respected in the classroom.
We’ve gathered some resources to support this work, including ways for students to see themselves in the curriculum.
- edjustice Toolkit: Defending the Freedom of our LGBTQ+ Students to be Themselves—This toolkit highlights the importance of supporting and protecting LGBTQ+ students, taking action, and getting involved with the movement
- ADL: LGBTQ+ Pride Month and Education Resources—Provides a list of relevant K-12 curriculum, children’s books, and other resources to bring LGBTQ+ Pride Month to your schools and classrooms.

- Purdue Global: 44 Resources for LGBTQ+ College Students—This piece includes informational resources for LGBTQ+ students in regard to academics, health, community, scholarships, and support services. The article is broken down into those different categories, listing multiple different resources for LGBTQ+ college students.
