February 9, 2012 | Why Choose the Marzano Administrator and Teacher Evaluation Models? | Presented by Tina Boogren and Phil Warrick
Is your school or district trying to find an effective evaluation model for teachers and administrators? In this presentation, Tina Boogren and Phil Warrick will give a brief overview of the Marzano evaluation models, including:

- How these models are simple to understand
- How you can easily implement them in your school or district
After Phil and Tina's 15-minute overview, two Wenatchee School District representatives will share their perspective on why they chose the models and how implementation is going at both the school and district levels. Jodi Smith, assistant superintendent of learning and teaching, and John Waldren, principal of Foothills Middle School, have both worked directly with Marzano associates to implement these models successfully.

- September 29, 2011 | 3:30 p.m. EDT | The Highly Engaged Classroom| Presented by Robert J. Marzano
Novice and veteran teachers alike are always challenged with the goal of keeping students engaged. - Student emotions (How do I feel/)
- Student interest (Am I interested?)
- Student perceptions of importance (Is this important?)
- Student perceptions of efficacy (Can I do this?)
Specific recommendations and resources will be offered in each of the four areas. These will include strategies that could be applied immediately as well as strategies that, when used over time, contribute to the development of “highly engaged classrooms.”
